Mr. Golembe was born and raised in New York City. Mr. Golembe attended and graduated from City College a division of the University of the City of New York and shortly thereafter relocated to the State of Florida where he attended Stetson University College of Law. Upon graduation in 1972 he began working as a Prosecutor at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office first, for Richard E. Gerstein and then Janet Reno. Mr. Golembe worked as an attorney prosecuting hundreds of felony cases involving misdemeanors through homicide.
He left public service in 1975 and began working for a civil law firm of Highsmith, Strauss and Nelson. That civil association only lasted one year as a result of Mr. Golembe's passion to return to the practice of criminal law. Since 1975 Mr. Golembe has devoted his practice exclusively to criminal law. He has represented well over 1,000 clients who have been charged with a variety of crimes in the State of Florida and throughout the United States. He will represent you vigorously to get the best possible results.
